National Diagnostics’ TBE Buffer is a concentrated buffer solution of tris-borate-EDTA in distilled/deionized water. TBE is ready-to-use as a 5X concentrate. When diluted, the 1X solution contains 0.089M tris base, 0.089M boric acid (pH 8.3) and 2mM Na2EDTA.
